You didn't mention the year of your trailer, the older
airstreams had a uni-volt system, 12-14 volt ac
transformer and a 19 volt ac transformer. You would
physically switch between ac and dc voltage by use of
the switch at the fuse/circut breaker panel, it was
labeled shore/battery, This system did not charge the
battery. The lower voltage was used for lights and the
higher for motors.
