The prior owner of my 71 Safari has spread some kind of dark grey 
mastic all over the seams and around the vents on the roof of my 
trailer.  Could be Vulkum I'm not sure.  It appears to have been 
applied some years ago and is as hard as a rock.  Does anyone know of 
a product or method that can be used to remove this material without 
damage to the aluminum?
