<< Hi Hunter,
I just received the lastest Blue Beret. Isn't it curious that our WBCCI
International
President feels it is time for WBCCI to be more "pro-active in its
recruitment of new Aristream
owners"?? So, "beginning July 1, 2001 the owners of a new A/S will be
enrolled as Members at Large". >>
I think it's a step in the right direction... the WBCCI has not been
proactive at all and as their members die off they are not being replaced.
<What about those of us who find that dream stream that has
been "pre-owned"? And what about the people who spend
all that money, as in Jack's case, 6 weeks too soon? >
Well, it has to start somewhere. I don't see a problem not making the freebie
retroactive. It's not like it costs a fortune to join. It costs about the
price of a tank of gas. If they give everyone a free membership they would
have no money.
<IMHO, I don't think President Lundberg has found a very good solution to a
sad situation.>
I don't really think it is a solution..... not enough new trailers are sold
to make that big of a dent... but I do see it as an acknowledgement of the
fact that there is a problem and they are finally trying to do something
about it. It's a nice gesture and hopefully the people who get the free
membership will then re-up the next year. Until now, nothing has been done to
try to recruit new members except give free memberships when attending some
rallies.
<Thanks for letting me vent>
Sure.
<< PS How bad is your cabin fever getting? >>
It isn't so far. I've been so busy I haven't had time to get cabin fever. As
long as I can stay busy I won't get bored and want to take off.
Thanks for asking.
