[A/S] Boeing Surplus, was Anyone near Kent, WA?

I'd like nothing more than to make the run up to Kent to get the Right
Stuff - and i might do so when the time comes. I've had some replies from a
couple of listmembers who've offered to scout out the available materials at
the Boeing Surplus Retail Store, and (i'm hoping) will pick up a couple of
small scraps for me to evaluate... The ideal (for me) outcome would be that
someone would send me some samples, and when i've made a choice, would then
handle the purchase and ship the panels to Reno for me... I've got at least
two road-trips planned for the next month, but, unfortunately, neither is in
that direction...

I think that this could turn into a terrific resource for A/S restorers, and
someone could turn a reasonable profit by acting as an intermediary in this
way...

If this stuff turns out to be priced on the order of $1,000/4'x10' sheet, I
may try to make it myself, using aluminum sheets, expanding urethane foam,
and a jury-rigged press...
