Hunter,

I think the only information required by Fed DOT is GVWR (Gross Vehicle
Weight Rating) and GAWR (Gross Axle Weight Rating).  Light (empty)
weights are usually found in the operator/owner's manual.  By law, the
information plate must be on the left front portion of the coach, or
driver's door pillar in the case of a motor home.  If the driver has no
door, kinda sorta where the hinge would be, more or less, or by his
seat, or head, or um...

Really kind of loosely enforced.

Axle rating(s) - gross rating should give you tongue load on a maxed out
rig, not counting the big orange pillow block, of course.  ;^)>
