Re: [A/S] Fresh Water Tank and Flooring

Al,

I have a '93 34' A/S which may be (or may not be) similar. In the bottom of
the curb side triple wardrobe are two valves for draining the hot and cold
water lines supplying he kitchen sink. When the valves are opened the water
drains through an opening in the fresh water tank cover if I remember
correctly. You might check to see if you have similar drain valves/lines.

Unfortunately, your symptoms also sound very much like mine did two years
ago when my water tank was cracked at the top and leaking. The fresh water
tanks are a rather thin and flimsy polyethylene that are apparently easily
broken from filling with a water hose stuck into the fill opening (builds
up pressure in the tank) or from sloshing around when almost but not quite
full.

The good news is the tanks cost less than $150 and are easily replaced by
dropping the tank cover.

I hope your dripping water originates with the drain valves not your fresh
water tank.
