[A/S] Mirrors

To begin just a thank you to everyone for the
responses to a soon to be new A/S owner (6 weeks and
counting).  Your helpfulness is appreciated.  I hope I
can return the favor in the future.

My next question is regarding mirrors.  My stock
mirrors on my 99 Chevy Express Van will not get me
around the widebody on my Safari.  Have any of you who
have newer GM vans found a clip on mirror that works
with the existing stock mirrors.  My current mirrors
are the heated variety so I'm not wanting to replace
them.

I had a pair of slip on's designed for my Astro van
that were a shell that allowed me to use the old
mirror.  The shell had a second mirror which got me
outside the range of the stock equipment.

Unfortunately in their wisdom GM designed the full
size van mirrors differently from the
Suburban/Tahoe/Silverado versions.  While I see lots
of those extensions, I don't see the van equivalent.
