Although a window would be nice, it still would not let in the light you
want with the door closed. One thing that I did was have two pieces of
plexiglass gut to match the inside cutout of the screen door. Then with some
plastic clips I secured it to the screen door. Now I can keep the metal door
open and keep the unit cool with the AC on. Works great. Just draw a pattern
of the inside of the screen door and have the 1/8 plexiglass cut.
