Hi Barbara, 

Personally I would want an air conditioner.  The whole point of a travel 
trailer is travel and you will get places where you want an air conditioner.  
I went to Glacier National Park last summer and needed it because it was in 
the mid 90s!!!

You don't need to use it if you don't want, but you will sure wish you had it 
when you do want.

Before you have Jackson Center instal one, check Camping World's prices.... 
using the 10% discount. Check for their free or cheap installation deals. 
They might just install to replace existing ones though.

If I were you I would get one with a heat strip or heat pump..... that way 
you can heat the trailer when you are using campground power and not use your 
propane. (My heat pump is runnng as I type)
