Re: [A/S]Hot water heater

Bob,

According to the documentation I have for my 1984 AS MH, the water
heater should be an atwood. I believe AS used models with an engine
heat exchanger. It is not clear what the model number is. Could be
G6A-4E, or GH6-3 or -3E. I don't know what those correspond to in
terms of today's product. The existing heater is supposed to be
removable from the outside after removing all plummed connections
from the inside. A quick look on camping world's site lists the
following direct ignition version. I did not find a model with a
heat exchanger. That may be a special order item. The regular pilot
light version was over $100 cheaper.
