Re: [A/S] Wiring and plumbing for A/S restoration
Joy,
FWIW: my A/S had the wiring run through a hole in the 'A' frame.
Unfortunately, that cable led water right down into the RH side of the
'A' frame, causing severe rusting. Bad enough that I completely cut off
the 'A' frame, fabbed a replacement, and welded it on.
I used an LB electrical fitting and a short piece of 3/4" EMT under the
trailer for the wire to run back to the junction point near the step.
Used some of that spray foam stuff to seal the end of the conduit where
the wire exited.
Thanks for the tip on the "Well Wire"; that's probably pretty flexible
also, isn't it? Most heavier wire (#8) has just a few strands and is
kinda stiff.
