Yours is the first negative report I have heard on the McKesh mirrors. 
All the others said they were the best add ons available. I was thinking
of ordering a pair -- now I'm not so sure.  Has anybody used the McKesh
mirrors on a recent Ford F150 pickup? I'm wondering if the window
arrangement is the same as on your '98 Suburban. I wouldn't like my
windows scratched up either.
