My 1996 manual says:  

Always place the lifting jack under the MAIN FRAME RAIL. A label is provided 
to indicate the proper position for the jack.

Then on another page:

To change a tire with a jack see the label affixed to the underbelly to the 
*rear* of the wheels.  This label points to the plate riveted to the main 
frame where the jack head must be placed.
