[A/S] Re: hunter and others about temp
Doc,
It's only the exception. My experience was camping on the beach in
SC during July. There was no shade. The temp outside was between
101 and 103. Humidity was about 97% The air thermostat was set at
around 75. During the heat of the day, the inside temp would climb
to around 80 or so. It was still quite comfortable (especially
compared to outside), as that old unit was almost constently blowing
cold air.
One of my favorite features about the classic airstreams is they have
lots of windows that open wide. Much or our "camping" is done with
windows wide open and the air off. We stay quite comfortable. Friends
with newer plastic box rvs with tiny windows have to run their air
even on nice nights to stay comfortable.
