Hunter,

I'm sure you know this and you may have mentioned it to me, but with 
my Hensley, I always move the hitch head to the center position of
its travel if it's not centered already. You can push the little 
gravity lock lever in the hole up so as to let the head travel right 
or left. With the head centered in its travel range if I back up to 
it, and if the hitch bar is slightly to the left or right I can lift 
the lock lever up again and move the head over to mate with the bar 
and then back in. Works for me.
