Re: [A/S] New Airstreamer!
Don and Mary Slack
I'm with Terry and Sandie Tyler there is such a variety of activities
available and info ....one of the great ways to lern about an area when you are
traveling is to use courtesy parking....who better knows what to see in an area
than someone who lives there. If you have a new 01 directory look on page 277
at all the people who would welcome you to come and park in their yard, in their
drive, and usually will provide water and electricity during your stay.
Know that you are always welcome at any units rally as long as your belong to
WBCCI....and the great fun is when you stop at a rally just because you are
going thru the area you will find that among the people there someone knows a
friend of yours from somewhere else and the more you do it the more firend you
will make....and then when you attend an Int'l rally you will keep finding some
where you have been to a rally and it is like old home week.
So you are new ........my one big piece of advice is ;you both should be
driving, both should be able to hitch and unhitch so if someone stops to talk
while you are hitching the other one can check it out before you go down the
road having not done something.....goes for the guy too to know all about the
inside......and one bends over to pick up a bar of soap and can't stand up
stright the other one is comfortable solving the problem. Last one driving
before stopping for the night also gets to park it. Pearl in Hemet CA
