We used 1 1/2 tubes of Vulkem, which was very generously applied.  We
could have used much less.
I called and drove to several stores in my area (Seattle) and couldn't
find it.  For me, the postage paid to Airstream Dreams was more than
worth the time expended. I also bought the larger quantity of rivets to
get the volume discount, and we used most of them.
My retired A&P mechanic (Dad) who orchestrated the project was very
pleased with the performance of the Vulkem.  (He has a reputation of
being "Mr.
Clean" and very picky around aircraft aluminum.)  We applied a bead of
it before putting the awning strip down, riveting through the strip and
the bead.  Lots of goo everywhere which cleaned up nicely with rags and
paint thinner.
