Another suggestion,

    All the other replies are right on the money concerning the overloading of
the single axle trailer, I might think about what you've relayed if you were to
apply it to a dual axle trailer.

    My suggestion would be to mount a receiver hitch under the front bumper of
the tow vehicle (assuming you could see around the motorcycle, think about a
snowplow and how far out they extend and how much they weigh), get one of the
many available 500# load trays that insert into a receiver hitch and carry the
Motorcycle in the front. This would offset the tongue weight and also spread the
additional load towards the front of the vehicle which would be much less
stressful being close to the front tow vehicle axle than on the end of the
trailer a long ways from the trailer axle.

    This same platform could also be used for extra capacity when not towing the
trailer, assuming you have a receiver hitch in the rear.
