Actually they would be easier to get around a turn, the turn would start
further back behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle, providing for a
tighter turning radius on the trailer tire tracks than if it were being
pulled directly by the tow vehicle. I'm making an assumption though, that
the rear most axle of the trailer is not at the extreme rear of the
trailer, or if it is, that it's not any further away from the tow vehicle
than if it were not using the dolly axle set up.

That sures sounds confusing when I read it.  Maybe I should just keep
quite   :-)

Now this is near impossible, except in very small increments, and even at
that, you better have a lot of wiggle room.
