The Dish folks told me that I needed a wire heavier than the regular (RG-58?) 
otherwise I would have too much loss from the Dish.A lot of bunk to sell me 
heavy wire?? My wire has a ground wire attached and is quite stiff. Anyhow, 
too late now, it's in and works fine. Your way would have been easier.   Bill
