Congratulations on the find.  The original Bambi was made in 1961-1962
in the California plant, and only 742 were made.  The size is very
popular for weekend travel and its manageable size.

The original floor would have been tile squares (minor amounts of
asbestos content), but photo's of original curtains/upholstory are hard
to come by.  It seems where most curtain information is exchanged is at
VAC rallies, with many discussions comparing one retro look to another,
and the merits of period fabric vs modern, etc.
