i think they use a stripper to remove the oxidation.  and the $200 is not
bad for me until i add another $200 for supplies (pads and compound).  i
also always prefer to do work myself, however full timing in a 24' leaves
little room for tools.  and i could never justify paying to have my
stream shined.
