I think Nick is right. Jalousie windows in Airstreams were phased out by
'68. I think they started using them in '60 and used them through '64 or
'65. If you think that your trailer is a '68 then please give us the serial
number so we can check it out (or do you have something besides an
Airstream?)
Anyways, to your question. You are the first person that I know of that has
looked to replace the weather-stripping along the bottom of the jalousie
windows. I just went out to take a look at mine, and it looks as if they
used the same weather-stripping at the top of those windows too. The
jalousie windows are not at all air tight so most people don't give the
weather-stripping a thought. If you can't find something locally that will
slip into the groove, then I think that some type of stick on type would
work in this case.
