I have made reservation for Harpers Ferry!  I am counting on my furnace working
by then.
Today I tried to order parts, but three RV/Suburban dealers/service centers
said forget it.
I may not need new parts anyway.  I think my problem may be very simple.  From
what a few service guys have told me, it sounds like my burner is loadd up with
crap.  I haven't removed it to clean, but if the bottom of the combustion chamber
is any indication, it must be pretty bad too!  The erratic flame is indicative
if a blockage..I guess.  It's the only thing I haven't done.
I ordered a new thermostat! 

Here's more terrific news.
Today I called Walter of Wabash, because one my gaucho slides was loose, and
the slide block inside came loose.  I tried to order a new one, but they wouldn't
do that.  The woman on the phone seemed quite surprised that the slide wasn't
for a table!

Instead, they said that Walter stands by their products, and warranteed them
for....LIFE!!!!

Yes. all I have to do is send it to them, and they will rebuild it for free!
 I just have to ship it there!  How 'bout that!  Three cheers for WoW!

Things are looking up!  I have been working on this thing quite regularly, a
little at a time.  All the small jobs that I had been putting off.  It's a shame
the winter is coming, but with a furnace..I can spend many winter days tinkering
about!

Thanks Matt..for offering a heater..I will take you up on that..I'm just hoping
I don't have to.
