No, you can't avoid "normal maintenance" RV black tank systems are not
designed to "pass through". A typical RV toilet flush will only use a
gallon of water or less. The tank is typically a large, up to 30
gallons, nearly flat bottom tank. I know lots of us with smaller and
older units don't have big tanks. With the valve left open the liquids
will depart the tank leaving the solids behind. This will eventually
build up to a major problem. Been there, done that, don't eeevvver want
to do that again. Trust me.
