[A/S] White out

Hi Hunter,

Glad to hear you arrived in Tucumcari safely. This morning (Sunday 10/08), I called you on the cell
phone to warn about the snow and ice nearby (along your route), but you had already left. The
freezing rain and snow stopped here (San Jose, NM) just after noontime today. We stayed in this
campground another day. It's now 5pm Sunday 10/08 and satellite tv is showing a window of open
weather starting tomorrow morning. Our plan is to be in the town of Truth or Consequences (250 miles
south) by evening, then make the run to Deming, NM (100 miles south) on Tuesday.

You are the only person I've heard about who has towed an Airstream in New Mexico on ice and snow in
a white out. In my voice as a friend, I congratulate you for successfully navigating the storm and
offer you a hug. In my voice as a father, I sternly chew you out, tell you never to do that again
and offer you a hug. <grin>
