Hunter, I agree with "do it now"!  In 1985 I bought my Globe Trotter and did 
a trip, not as long as yours, I couldn't afford to stay on the road that 
long, so I ended up in Crested Butte, Co and became a ski bum for the winter, 
washing dishes at night for room and board and skiing in the days. It was a 
good year.
 In 1993 I had a brush with cancer, and now I am considering the gypsy life 
again.  My kids have been living near me for 5 years but now are moving on so 
the road calls!  Have to find a place for my "stuff" though, can't part with 
it all. Right now, my thoughts are a steel barn with AS inside as home base, 
with a loft for my studio.
