The folks I have talked to that have this type LOVE them. The controller has a pivot point, on the brake pedal so you actually use your foot to controller how much braking occurs on the trailer (in a panic you are slamming them on full anyway). It is not just how hard you push the brake, but how you apply the switch on the pedal (does that make sense?) They say you have to learn how to use it and then you love it.
