[A/S] More on Windows.

My never ending search for curved glass goes on..but I'll probably never find
any!

So..I am turning my attention to the stainless steel trim that was around the
glass panes.  (an option, I believe) The cheap plexiglass replacements, that
I have to replace, are all out of shape...mostly from UV degradation I'll bet,
but a steel frame sure would help, and look nice too.

I went to a local metal fabricator today, and even though it could be done,
it would be expensive..two, maybe three hundred bucks.  This is for about 20
feet.  The price would probably be the same, or close, for 100 feet!!  Anyone
else need this stuff?

My windows are Philips windows, not Hehr. These are just some of the questions
that come to mind.

What years was Philips used? Is this company still around?  Did they order
the glass from Corning? Who do you think made the stainless trim frame?  Corning?
Philips?  Airstream?

Will this be another exercise in frustration? <g>

I would think these frames might be more available than the glass panes.

Any thoughts on this?  Mr. Burke?
