Craig, I pull a 1976 31' Sovereign with my 1999 Suburban 1500 equipped with the factory towing package, trans cooler. Most of my travels at this time are in Texas from my home in Houston and maybe over to Destin FL and it handles the 31' just fine. If I was full timing it or traveling in the mountains I would move up to the 3/4 ton to Suburban. Good Luck. Don Hardman
