     Are you sure about the tambour?  I wrote to Airstream about it, 
and they replied that it was no longer available. It was 'way too 
expensive anyhow - around $275 for a small sheet.
     Some time back, someone wrote

Don't know if that is still a good lead.

     In April, at Top of Georgia Airstream park, I spoke with a man 
who had done a beautiful job replacing his tambour doors.  He said he 
got the stuff at a cabinetmaker's supply shop at very reasonable 
prices for 4'x6' sheets.
