Re: [A/S] Re: Tire Pressure Monitor

This subject brings back some old memories for me.
In 1958 I worked for a company named Instrument Engineering in Austin,
Texas. It was a small scientific instrument machine shop owned by a Mr. Joe
McQueen, I was the apprentice boy. On several occasions Mr. McQueen talked
about whom ever could come up with a way to monitor tire pressure in truch
tires would be rich because if they got low, in just a few miles the side
wall flex would create so much heat the tire would disintegrate. Well they
can do that now but it is expensive. I learned a lot from Mr. McQueen.
