Hi everyone, Just talked with the Dish Network Distributer here in Lady Lake, FL and he has informed me that the web service should be available by the first of the year. The company has distributed services to their representatives and they are now contacting the web via satellite. The good news is---no phone lines required. The dish will send and receive information. WOW!!! He didn't have any idea regarding costs etc, but will keep me posted. He downloaded a very large file from the Microsoft site--took 2 hours via a 56k modem and 6 1/2 min. via the DishNetwork service. Sounds very good!
