[AirstreamList] Re: Adding damage to an older claim

Hunter:

They should cover it; I did not submit a claim on mine because
I'd already had two claims.
My experience with State Farm:  My trailer coverage is for
"physical damage."  The adjuster said that it doesn't matter what or
who caused the damage.  So, they covered both my DA mistake in
Nashville and the damage from a kind soul in Indianna who backed into
my trailer, then drove off.  Not submitting another claim was my
choice.
Typically, they will not allow you to add to a claim already
established, as there would be separate deductables for you to pay,
and also they like to keep things separate.  I asked about the "kind
soul" damage, if it could be added to the metal damage from
Nashville.
They said no, but there was no problem with opening another claim.
That second check was waiting for me when I returned to Atlanta.
