Re: [a/s] New vs. Old
This didn't come thru the first time I sent it. Others wrote better replies
but since I actually have one of the maligned Bambis I'll go ahead and send
it again.

Too expensive? Probably Too heavy? pretty heavy
But FAR inferior? - I don't think so. So far haven't found anthing inferior
about our 1998 19' Bambi. And it's darn cute!
As has been discussed before on this list the type of person you are should
have a lot to do with the direction you go in selecting an A/S. If you like
to fix and restore things and spend lots of time doing it the lighter, less
expensive older unit is a good way to go.
On the other hand, if you are like us, and just want to use your trailer and
not have to do anything other than 'maintain' it a newer unit is probably
best.
Of course it would be wonderful to find an older unit in perfect condition at
a good price but who would want to give one up that's in that condition?!
