We have been doing pretty good at conservation of water in the trailer
shower since I came upon a bowl special at Walmart... ( 3 plastic bowls for
2 bucks)   and some cloth covered "polishing sponges".... Water in the
bowl.... soap and water on the sponge... lather down... quick rinse... Take
all the time you want for the lather down stage, but be quick about the
rinse....

Having the gray water back up in the shower is especially bad in our case,
we always have "stuff" sitting in the shower to keep it out of the
aisle....The gauge lights are erratic and we over shot the full mark
once.....
