[a/s] crank levers on windows
The window cranks on my 1966 Safari have always been a little suspicious to
me. The mechanical advantage of the lever from the crank up to the top
hinge is unbelievable.
Well finally one of the fittings that attach the lever to the moulding
along the top hinge of the window broke off.
Is there anywhere to get replacements for that part? OR has anyone come up
with an alternative way to open / close these windows.
The unit can be seen at: http://MrMinimal.com but there are no closeups of
the broken part . . . only window shots.
One last thing, if someone on the vintage site would post this for me, it
would be greatly appreciated.
