Depends on your personal preference.  The rear baths are huge.  You have to 
walk through the bedroom to get to the bath.  Some mid bedrooms have twins 
and some have "gaucho" beds.  A couch that makes into a double bed with room 
to walk by it.  Lots of people just leave it a bed and get a real double 
mattress.  The downside is someone has to sleep on the inside if there are 
two of you.  

The side baths are tiny.  I have one in my trailer.  The upside is I don't 
hang out in there much (c:  I can be in my bedroom in rear of the trailer and 
have company on the couch and the company can go to the bathroom without 
walking through my bedroom.

Like I said, personal preference.

As for the peeling finish.  It's a problem if it's a problem for you.  I 
would strip the clearcoat off and polish the trailer.  The 70s trailers look 
awesome polished.
