I have not had a problem finding diesel fuel.  I have, however, the Truckers Directory which lists truck stops 
across the country where fuel is cheapest and freshest.  Regular intown diesel works fine, too.  But I do like to 
think that the truck stop stuff is a tad better.

But to answer your question again, I haven't had a problem getting diesel fuel, even in Mexico.
