After reading you story I an sure that you can make lemonade from lemons.  With all this manure, there has 
to be a pony somewhere, eh?  I can bet that you have pretty near used up your bad luck and that all will get 
better form here on out.  Once you start life in the lucky lane you will love it.

Of course, it won't be nearly as exciting, but who needs smoke pouring from the dash and compartment 
doors falling off.

And I agree with you about the 3/4 ton truck to tow with.  That's what I use on a 30W Excella.  It does fine.  
But even the 3/4 is at about its useful upper range towing the 30W.
