Hunter,
I had slowed down my modem to 4800.  All other things being equal, the only 
difference seems to be AOL vs. my long distance call to my service 
provider.  With AT&T it was "one rate" so long distance didn't matter.  Did 
you use local dial ups to AOL for each area OR do they have a long distance 
solution for Road Warriors?
