Thanks for the link to Don Reason's "The Silver Palace on Wheels."  Quite a
respectable piece of work -- obviously a labor of love from a history buff.
And sad (maybe that's not really the right word) about Wally dying at 65
when he said life begins at 60.  And curious that his departure from this
side the ground was 22 July (1962).

Tomorrow we might all think some energetic thoughts of gratitude and
remembrance and send them Wally's way into the hereafter -- like a
harmonious convergence of our list spirit!  All the fun and adventure he
inspired.  We wouldn't even be talking to each other now on this list  if it
weren't for his vision and its fruition.  Awesome, no?
