Hi Charlie,
I am the one that started this wood discussion. I have a 63 Land Yacht 
Safari. If the finish is pickled?.....what KIND of wood is underneath? 
Whatever it is, it has held up very well over the years! And don't 
worry....you are not raining on my parade. I personally don't care what kind 
it is ....just wanted to know a little more about my AS.
