[a/s] Tie-downs for trailer

I believe that it was Bob who wrote that he wanted information about 
tie-downs.  If I got this wrong, please forgive.

We live in an extremely windy area near the Wyoming border with Colorado.  
Everything must be tied down or will blow away (our neighbor neglected to use 
common sense and allowed a 4 ft x 40 ft steel culvert to travel over 1 mile 
into our windbreak, and we have the squished trees to prove it).  There is, 
as far as we can ascertain, no reason that you could not use these devices to 
secure a trailer, if for example, you were concerned about a hurricane.  You 
can buy the screws and the straps, at a mobile home outlet.  The screw driver 
(the screws are appr. 2ft long)  is rented and resembles a washing machine 
motor.  You could put the screws in place in case of an event, and then just 
tie the A/S down when you got worried.  A friend of ours was living in a 5th 
wheel over the winter while his house was being built did this so that he and 
his wife and 2 children didn't make any unplanned trips around their property 
in the dead of night.  The whole operation is pretty simple, we have to date 
tied down a chicken coop, a piggyback shipping container, and 2 doublewides 
(don't ask).

If this isn't what you were asking about, just ignore the rambling.  But now 
that you have suggested it, I believe that I will be applying the screws here
