RE: [a/s] Pits and spit and polish!
Dear Stefan,
There must be a zillion different polishing products. Too many to get
qualitative and comparative results for me. Rolite products are the most
highly touted. What size buffer are you using?
My friends recommend the Wen 2 speed 7" polisher for about $69. Aero Buff
pads with velcro backing. (do an internet lookup) Cleaning them regularly
is important so you'll need a few. My VAC guru cleans them by spinning them
in a bucket of water but I would be careful of electrocuting yourself.
Regards tje actual polishing he says:
"Use Rolite AV20 at low speed, to take off the first
layer then the AP300 to shine. Keep the surface damp
with a spray bottle of water as you polish and it
seems to work better"
Pits are the pits. You may not be able to polish them all out. But you can
get the lions share of your coach looking shiny and cared for with this
techniques.
