RE: [a/s] polish

Clear coat doesn't oxidize according to my polishing Guru, Bill Scott.  It
blisters, scales off, breaks down, and then exposes the underlying metal
which, in turn oxidizes.  That is why it is so important to get the old
broken down clear coat off whenever there are any of the above signs.

Once the clear coat is off, it's time for the muscle work of cleaning and
polishing.  On bare aluminum all reports are that Rolite products are
fantastic.
