I have just added a Carrier Air V unit (13500
btu with 5600 btu heat strip) to a 73 Argosy; installed cost was about $ 750
(A/S dealer did install). Pros: high efficiency unit, cools very well,
very low profile inside, oscillating vents in rear, air shower feature, filters
very easy to access and clean and produces minimal condensate. Cons:
condensate could not be routed through interior wall line and comes down the
side of the trailer. If you don't mind the trickle of water down the side
of the trailer, it is a great unit.
