RE: [a/s] Drapes of Wrath :)
So I went to K-Mart and checked out Martha's curtains and then it hit me. I
was getting very picky about what hung on the walls of my Airstream.
Martha's pleats are about twice as wide as the stock pleats, just like JC
Penney.
The stock color was Teal, which is almost non-existent in ready made
curtains today. So I thought to myself . . . self, why don't you get some
kind of manly print and have them custome made. Manly would be like Tapa
cloth or native American print. Then I thought, having a bizzy print might
get old after a while, so I went back to solids. But what kind of solid?
I like reddish browns and grays and blues and a bunch of dark colors, which
is fortunate because most of the drapes were dark . . . except Marths's.
It is clear to me that light colors are a better choice in a small trailer.
It keeps an open look that enhances the limited space of the unit. So I
think that a custom teal curtain of a high quality fabric with a diminutive
pattern is what I need.
See what I mean. The "Drapes of Wrath" has gone from project to production
:)
