RE: [a/s] new to group
That's certainly a good reason. My 66 Safari has skids near the axle which
seem to be designed to protect the wheel in the event of a blowout. I'm
sure it would be a sudden drag? Anybody know.
But any flat is a potential hazard. I would venture to say that a front
wheel flat on the towing vehicle could be every bit as hazardous. The key
thing is to keep all tires with good thread and proper inflation.
Is the fear of a flat on a single axle trailer enough to avoid using such
trailers? If it were than millions of utility, recreational and work
trailers with single axles would not be in use. Any more reasons out there?
I'm waiting for the axle buster :)
