I don't use anything most of the time..... when I do I use Monsanto 
EnviroChem.

I never have a problem with the black tank smelling..... BUT, for the longest 
time I had horrible problems with the grey tank stinking when I traveled.... 
doh.... I started to use all the stoppers when I drive.... the sinks and the 
shower and eliminated that horrid smell. 

I never leave either tank open when I have full hookups.... I just dump the 
grey when necessary.
